First let me just say “Thank you” to everyone for the sweet comments and well wishes.  It has been fun seeing the responses and hearing from friends and family near and far.  We love you all and appreciate being in your thoughts.

Now without further ado, what are we naming this kid?  Since the moment he has been born, everyone keeps asking me this question.  Some more pushy about it than others (Yes, birth certificate lady, I am talking about you).  I know we have nine months to think about it, discuss it, and decide, but for some reason this is the kind of thing on which I always procrastinate.  Maybe it is because I have a partner who only suggests names like “Shabadoo” or “Maxamillion”, but I think it has more to do with trying to pick a name for someone that I don’t even know yet.  I don’t know what name fits his personality.  Right now, I am content calling him “angel”, but you guys can call him “Roark”…Kenneth Roark McKibben.
